Dinosea World Park offers a refreshing escape from the heat of Phang Nga. Located in Khok Kloi, the first village on the mainland when you're coming from Phuket, this huge waterpark is the perfect place to spend the day playing in the water with your family, in a Jurassic ambience and décor.
Set on the seaside and surrounded by mangrove forest, Dinosea covers a total area of about 70,000 sqm. The park is divided in five main sections: Shops and Photo Ops Area, the Rainbow Sea, the Young Zone, the Food Village, and the Beach Party Zone. All slides, pools and obstacle courses are made of inflatable devices.

Dinosea Photo Opps
'Gigantic' is the word that best describes Dinosea World Park. Upon arrival at the large car park, you’re welcomed by two full-size Brachiosaurus and a T-Rex that guard the entrance of the park. Once you've paid the entrance fee (950 baht for non-Thai adults and 450 baht for non-Thai children), you enter the first zone. It’s like a long corridor featuring animated ‘small’ dinosaurs that offer photo opportunities. In this first zone, you also find lockers and bathrooms to one side, with shops and slides to the other.
Rainbow Sea & Young Zone
The second zone is the Rainbow Sea - a sizable basin on which float inflatable devices of all shapes and sizes that you can climb and run on. Water is sprayed towards the centre of the pool by cannons all around the basin. Further inside the park, the Young Zone features nine shallow-water themed pools for the little ones, as well as a long obstacle course.
Food Village and Beach Party Zone
The Food Village and the other restaurants available in Dinosea World Park are rather basic, so it’s almost best to lunch before to get here. The waters right off the beach are not really swimmable because of the mangrove forest all around, but you can enjoy a drink at one of the bars/restaurants that sit at the end of the beach.
Dinosea World Park Summary
Dinosea World Park does not play in the same league as the huge waterparks that can be found in Europe or the US, but it offers a very pleasant place to spend time with your family. Life-jackets are mandatory for everyone who wants to play in the pools, and lifeguards are on call near each basin to ensure visitor safety at all time.
