Khao Lak Mini Golf

Khao Lak Mini Golf

Based on an ‘ancient’ jungle adventure theme, the 18-hole Khao Lak mini golf is a fun way to pass the afternoon or evening. It’s actually quite challenging and if you miss certain holes you’ll have a hard time getting back on track. The course is illuminated at night and has a lot of variety when it comes to themed holes.

Opening Hours: 10:00 – 22:00
Location:

On the road to Pakweep Waterfall, north of Bang Niang

Khao Lak Fish Spa

Doctor Fish

For the most ticklish pedicure you’ll ever experience you just have to try Doctor Fish (Fish Spa), just outside the Ruen Mai Restaurant in central La On where hundreds of small fish (Garra Ruffa) nibble away at your dead skin, resulting in, well… chewed feet – actually, pleasingly smooth foot skin. These fish have no teeth, and use their powerful lips to suck away dead skin and at the same time stimulate acupuncture points and modulate the nervous system. As bizarre as this seems, the practice is popular in Turkey as well as China, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. You can choose 20-, 30-, or 60-minute ‘treatments’ for a fraction of the cost back home but be warned – it’s downright tickly.

Opening Hours: 12:00 – 22:00
Location:

Outside Ruen Mai Restaurant, southern La On Village
